Unlike many of the later Ark Survival Evolved maps, beehives only spawn in the Redwood biome on The Center Map. The bees and their hives are only found on the redwood tree trunks and relatively high up. Unfortunately, I have found none that won’t require some tall dino or a grappling hook to get at them. Here are some locations of bee hives I have found on the Center Map. Giant bee honey can be eaten, but its best uses are for Sweet Vegetable Cakes and Extraordinary Kibble. Bee hives are best raided with a dire bear and its secondary attack, as they get twice as much honey, do not damage the hive, and do not aggravate the bees. However, on the Center Map, it will be challenging to get the bear high enough to use. Maybe a dino with a platform saddle would work well.
