Beaver Dam Locations on Crystal Isles

 Where to find the Beaver Dams on the Crystal Isles map of Ark Survival Evolved. Crystal Isles doesn't seem to have as many beaver dams as other Ark maps, but they are spread around nicely. Castseroides dams are great for harvesting cementing paste, wood, and a few silica pearls.

Beaver Dam Location on Genesis Part 1 map

The Genesis Part 1 DLC for Ark Survival Evolved launched there were beaver dams for some, and then beaver dams for none.  The beavers, known as Castoroides in the game have been back for all for some time now.  There is only one place to find them in Genesis Part 1, and that is at the Fishing Lake in the Artic Biome.  The dams spawn on the lake, and there are some surrounding the lake as well. Also on the lake you will find otters, which are really cute.  As usual, you can loot the dams for cementing paste, wood, silica pearls and other goodies. See the video for more.

Note these beaver dams are not really dams, but lodges, and it drives me nuts that I have to call them dams.  

Where to Find Beaver Dams on The Center Map: Ark Survival Evolved

If it is one thing that the Center Map has going for it in terms of resources, it is Beaver Dams.  There are plenty of places to raid the Castoroides dams for cementing paste, silica pearls, rare mushrooms, and of course, tons and tons of wood.  Of course, these are the places to find and tame beavers to do your own wood harvesting with. Castoroides are one of the best harvesters of wood in Ark Survival Evolved because the weight of wood is reduced while in a beaver's inventory.
